What is this blog about? It’s not about a diamond robbery, like in that famous movie, but about robbing some tables. No ordinary tables, but poker tables. Unlike that movie, it’s just the four of us instead of six guys. Moreover, we aren’t strangers to eachother in real life and we are pretty sure we haven’t got a rat in our middle. However, to stay concentrated on our challenge, we operate under false names: Mr. Blue, Mr. Brown, Mr. White and Ms. Pink.

So what the hell is this all about? It all started during a home cash game of poker. Somebody went broke for the third time (mentioning it was Mr. Blue would be mean) and stated: “I’m a tournament player man!”. Soon we discovered four of us were actually solely playing sit and go’s (sng) & multi-table tournaments (MTT) online, only playing cashgames ‘live’. Subsequently, a discussion rised about who’s the best tournament player, so we created a challenge:

We all start with $50 on our pokeraccounts and the goal is to become the first to make it $1000 by playing tournaments of all kind (heads-up, single table sng’s, multi-table sng’s and the ‘big’ MTT’s). The winner will of course get all the prestige AND some $400 extra: the player in last position at that moment will have to pay $200 (first one to go broke will automatically be 4th ^^), the other two persons pay $100 each. If three people go broke, the fourth one will be winner .

So we’ll be posting hands and situations we experienced during our tournaments with updates of the standings (we’ll check eachother’s tournament histories weekly at our cashgame to prevent cheating ). We’ll keep you posted!!
